The 50 HD is the one specifically made for the Hemi, although you will find people who are just as pleased with a standard 50, a 40 & the new 44...

The TV show "Trucks" said that just because it's a straight through design does not mean that it flows better than a chambered muffler.
They said that some straight through designs actually flow LESS that chambered mufflers.
IDK.
Just something to think about.

As mentioned above the 50 is made for the Hemi. Especially if you are going to go with a single in dual out set up. If you go with any ofthe 40 set ups you will have to go with a true dual setup with 2 mufflers. Flowmaster says that there is a back pressure problem going with a single 40. The sound is great, but they have had lower number increases with a single 40 compared to the single 50. Now their website doesn't state this and you would have to call and speak to sales rep, but it does say that any of the 40 series should be used in a true dual set up. Go with the 50 HD and you will be happy.

I have had some people tell me that u could not put a true dual on the ram because of the location of the fuel tank is that true

i also have people tell me to put straight pipes on it.
