Cut the guy some slack! He was asking for an opinion. Not for someone to harp down his throat and give him a hard time! Nor did he ever say that his truck was a Camaro. He was talking about the modifications he's done to his Camaro. He is going by what his dealer told him.. and because he's in a lease he has to go to THAT dealer.
Someone needs to go take their Happy Pill for the day or wake up on the right side of the bed! There is no need to be a complete *** to people for asking a question.

You made it out that he was saying his truck was just like his Camaro. Clearly a Dodge is VERY different from a Chevy. Although they both have the stupid fuel saving features now that don't really save any gas. It's the guys 1st Dodge, he's said he's only had Chevy's before.. he wanted input on them and was saying he put shorties on his Camaro and liked them. When you LEASE a vehicle, dealers can be real asses about what they will/will not cover under the warranty.
Ya Tell me about it. It's finally going to the dealer to update the computer for the MDS, get new tie rod ends, and to look at the coolent thing again. and finallyChrysler is getting involvedto fix it. it's only taking them a year.WHAT A JOKE!!! i hope i don't have this many problems with the 2500 cummins i want next

The 6.7s currently are both down and have been for a while. They both havea CEL and are insome kind of limited performancemode. The dealership has already re-flashed the PCM once with an update which did no good and they are currently waiting for another update to be released from Chrysler. The dealer told them they can use them until the update gets released, but the city manager forbids them to use either of them as long as they have a CEL.
They say the problem has to do with the newer emission system the 6.7 has. I currently see mixed reviews by 6.7 owners, some have had no problems whatsoever while others are really bitching.
I almost pulled the trigger on a new '07 5.9 this year, kinda wish I had, but they weren't showing me a very good trade in value on my Hemi because of how much they were discounting the CTD, and worse were not giving me anything at all for the $6000 in performance mods I invested in. So, I decided rather than loss my *** on my Hemi with just 37k miles on it, I'd pick up a daily driver and keep it for weekends & play time to keep the mileage down on it.
Maybe a CTD is in the cards when the '09s are released...
ya that's what i want to get. i test drove one at the dealer when my truck was getting worked on holly crap. it's much faster then my bosses new chevy 2500. i just like the looks of the dodge it's mean looking. like get out of my way. i'm not looking to get a new truck for 2-3 years so. that's the mistake i made with the hemi with mds. i bought it the first year and i knew i shouldn't of when i signed the paper but other then the few problems i've had i love the truck and look foward to doing more with it.
