pro comp mx6
Maybe once you get up into their higher priced shock they are not chinese made junk. Let's hope so. I'm not trying to **** in your corn flakes, it's just I've never heard anyone have anything good to say about them...
K so heres the deal the mxr6's i have were the wrong size. Again. so after having all this trouble, i will never order anything form 4wheelparts again. both shops stores we went to screwed everything up. apparentley their goin to send a drive to my house to swap out the right shocks becuase we refused to drive there fo the 6th time. I hate when nothing can just work out smoothly.
KX,
Just out of curiosity, where are you from?
I hear a lot people talk about how **** poor 4 Wheel Parts is. About half of my mods came from their Orlando, FL. store. Although I do 80% of the work on my truck myself, I did have them do my gears and locker and was not only very satisfied with the work, but the level of service was about the best I've seen in just about any work I've had done on anything. The tech. even had me come in the back at various times to explain just what he was doing. Then, on the free 500 mile fluid change/inspection, he had me come back when he had the diff. open to show me just how they were breaking in. Very professional.
I went there, even though it was an hour away, just for the reputation they have in central Fl.,
but I have read a ton of horror stories about other stores, I can particularly remember a number of bad posts on other forums about how bad they are in the Houston, TX. and Los Angeles, CA. stores...

yep ita the one in compton even this one is about 45min away. I live in the Oc. I have found some small shops that are family ownedthat trully respect their customers. Its funny becuase this 4wheel parts was talking all this crap about another 4 wheel parts shop in santa ana.
Ok so i just finished putting on the new shocks. And for the people who still have the stocks go to the store right now and get new ones. wut a difference. All I hear now is the tires making noise instead of that worn out bushing. The new shocks were littleraly 5 times stiffer than the stock. These shocks with my air bags really feel like im floating on air now. The front shocks were a pain. I had to cut out the original bushing and sleeve becuase they were too big. ( the shock was for a toyota 4wd) and replace it with smaller bushings and sleeves. There also 3" longer becuase of my Tbay crank. Over all they were easy to put in besides compressing them and trying to stick the bolt through the hole at the same time. I've only driven them on the softest setting so I don't know how it will handle stiffened. They also raised the truck front and back another 1/4 of an inch. Now all i need is 17" atx mojave wheels and 33" tires, a front light bar, and a system and this truck will be perfect!
