Default Water On Passenger Side Floor Board! Need Help!

Hey guys,
I need some help. I've been having water spots on my floor board build up each time it rains outside. Does anyone know where this is coming from and how to fix it? I've read articles where people had problems with the a/c drain line being clogged, but I checked that out and then line is clear and functioning fine. Once again this is only happening when it rains outside and only on the passenger side floor board. I've felt some water on the heater core and around the firewall area, so it seems like it is traveling downward from there, it's not water from the heater core either because it's just plain water. If anyone has any ideas on what the problem is and how to fix it let me know! Thanks!

I just got a new windsheild yesterday. I had this problem before I had to get my windshield replaced. Thats what I thought was the problem, butI don't think that is the problem. The guy who put my windshield in yesterday has been doing installs since 1969 and I watched him install it yesterday and it was a good and precise job. So im stumped. I just went outside and checked for anymore water and the floor board is dry once again.

Do you have a sunroof? If so the drain tube could be leaking or plugged.

Or it could be a bad seal on the door.

I had the same problem witha 2007 Dodge Nitro.. I was pissed after it rained and I saw water.. Took it back to the dealership, and they had some leak detector specialist come out and fix it.. turns out the COWL (i think that's how you spell it. The black thing below the wipers) was leaking. They fixed it and replaced the padding underneath. I think it would have cost something like 300.. If you're still under warranty I would go back and talk to them and get it repaired..... You definantly don't want all that water sitting there...

I had a 1500 bought back by the dealership because of this issue.

Every time we washed it (we were living in TX at the time....it don't rain down there ) the passenger side would get wet. Not just damp but PUDDLES!

They really did everything they could. Checked the heater core, drain plugs, vents, replaced door seals, replaced windshield seals, days heck weeks that thing spent in their shop. They brought a body guy down from Dallas and he found that the firewall was improperly installed. This caused the windshield support to be wrong. This caused the water to come inside the truck.

Man that was a looonng summer. I'd hate to have that truck up here.

Best of luck to you man...hope it is just a seal.
