No, not trying to compensate for anything..when you get in your forties, it makes it easier to read.....I didn't know it was a problem.

And YES, that 1% of the time I'm being nasty and MEAN it us usually when I'm answering Panama man...
when mopar welds a nut onto the end of theirs, I'll start using it. sometimes bad engine design (take that to mean filter location) will determine what the truck owner uses.
Hey everyone I did have this posted under another title,
"A different oil filter question",but no comments/replys. What gives?? So I just tagged it under this question Just wondering if anyone has don this. I'm definatly not using Frams anymore after lokking at the link.
Ok I've read a bunch of theoil filter questions/answers, but here's a different quetion.
Back in AZ when I had my F-350 dually, I installed aTranny oil cooler and noticed a big difference on cooling.I'm planning on this for my "Brandie" when I getback. I did not get around toinstalling the engine oil cooler on the dually though. Has anyone installed either of these ontheir4.7/Hemi Ram?? I was thinking of doing this when I get home and have the dual filter set-up on the inside of the engine bay with braided hoses and all.NOFRAM FILTERS!
I want to know if there are problems with the adapter that bolts up tothe block face for the filters? Are there pros or cons to doing this too?
Help please, H-
I agree with diesel doc esp with the cummins side of dodge while its still under warranty. However for the rest of us (broke the 36k warranty in one year), AMSOIL has been the best. (no i dont own shares of it) I do however put 2-3,000 miles a month on my truck, the oil is a 15-25k oil (can go higher if use 0W-30 vs factory 5W-30), the filter is designed to last as long as the oil is rated for. Lets not forget about the quality of oil, who cares about the filter if you run reg oil, synthetic is the only way to go.
