Interior noise level on 3rd Gen Rams
Schmedly, looks like you may be the exception here. Maybe you got one with a bad door seal or something due to the fact that the majority here think that it is very quiet. Check your door seals out real well, could just be a little warranty fix might be all you need...
Thanks a lot for all the replies. It does seeem that I'm in the minority here. The easy fix is door seals, the noise isn't like a whistling wind noise, it's like I hear everything louder. I haven't been to the dealer about it and i guess that is the next step. Everyone notices that they seem to have to talk a lot louder to carry on a convrsation. I did not notice this on a test drive. This was a special order vehicle.
I did note that in acceleration that Dodge has retuned thier exhaust for a more throaty tone than before. A little more testosterone. Once you get to speed this is a non-issue. My problems really start ay 40Mph and above. City driving is not an issue. I do have an aftermarket stereo that I really can't enjoy as intended.
Any futher comments would be appreciated. I do intend to bring it in to the dealer after the holiday season. Again, Thanks!
