For those of you runnin 35's wat kinda tire presure are you runnin when driving on road?

 

I'm running 35" Bfg Mudders at 45lbs.

 

Dick Cepek 35x12.5x17's max pressure rating is 50, I run at 40 all the time on pavement. I'll air them down quite a bit if I hit the beach here in sunny Fl. or I'm up in Ga. in that famous red clay mud...

 

I am running 48 right now, thinking about going down a little.

 

well for depends what ur doin :P. sand/rocks u want lower pressure with a fatter tire. For mudd u usly need taller tires, liek tractor tires instead of fatter tires, now for the mudd its up to the driver if they like to air down, i would a little bit, but not alot b/c u do need to be able to dig down and get some traction.

 

got mud... i was simply asking what people are using for pressure ON ROAD with their 35's.... good write up though


i know when to air down and such off road...

 

depends who makes the tire , i run close to max and max is 65psi , so i run 55 now this is what the people said who makes the super swamper ... rule of thumb run 5-10psi under the max..
