How Long do you guys warm up for?

Depends on how cold it is here. Its around 35 now....so basically just a few min. I don't drive it hard till the needle is moving up. The vents ae usually blowing out warm air in 3 or 4 minutes anyway.

I give it about 30 seconds. Is it really doing your engine damage or helping it either way? I know that it takes my trans about 5 minutes of driving to warm up so that shifts into the highest gear. I can tell when my RPM'S drop about 500.
I usually give it 3-5 mins, and drive her nice and easy for a couple miles. Of course if I'm heading to work she doesn't get a couple miles, more like a 1/2 mile. Living close to work is tough when I want to drive my truck.

I usually let it warm up about 15 min.-----or until the ice starts melting off the windshield in the morning----gets down to high teens to low 20's here.
I don't. Our coldest here in Vegas is 30's so there is no need to really let her warm up. I just start it and drive off. I never romp on it until I have full engine temp and oil pressure though.
Wow, leaving a car run for 15 mins before driving off, holy s*@t, what a waste. I live In Mid Eastern Canada where we get 5 deg F to 0 and I leave (any car I ever owned) as soon as I finished removing the ice and snow from the car. I've been told that a minute is more than enough to get the oils circulatingand then slowely drive off. Safer. I also leave at 5 am for work.
moral of the story for me is,
i want to warm it up for like 3 min minimum,
so i've decided to buy a remote start.
I park in a carport beneath my bedroom window, so this way i can crank it and 5 min later leave my apartment and be warmed up.
