I WAS GONNA CHANGE MY PLUGS BUT THEN.........
whats the oem plug that goes in these puppies. i've been running NGK and i'm thinking of trying that champion double platinum. whats good in the 5-8 dollar a plug range?
Champs are OEM and VERY recommended.
However given your SC you should run a cooler spark. Do some reserch but find a cooler spark than OEM. I am running Bosch in my SRT. If your spark is to hot you stand the chance of pre-ignition which is VERY bad with a FI system.

And dont they say that the Hemis dont like platinum??

Buy a cooler range plug but NOT platinum.
Platinum is good for longevity -- it lets automakers specify those 100k mile tuneup intervals. It is crap for spark though, which is what you need.
Go with a good copper plug. I've run NGKs in forced induction setups for 15 years and that's what'll go in my truck when I do the plugs & wires soon.

With the boost you're using, NGK 4306s will probably do nicely, maybe even cooler.

I imagine it'd be a PITA to re-gap 16 plugs too!
I was told by a number of people to only run platinums in the hemis. because the ignitions system voltage is so high that it will just burn out a regular plug, and that's why they say to do them at 36,000 or what ever. not cause there carboned up but becasue there worn out from the voltage. i don't know how much truth there is to it but that's what i've heard. also was told if i was going to switch plugs to spend the money and go with the NGKs. i personaly run those in everything i own besides my truck. i'm not a big fan of champion plugs. have had problems with them incars and toysin the pass
