No, what pisses me off the most, is the fact that Dodge knowing this is an issue / problem and didn't do anything to make it right............

Default You will need a new fuse box

I am wiring up a separate switch to run my running lights until Dodge issues a recall or I can afford a new fuse box. I am not paying 600 bucks for a fuse box that is a bad design. There should be a recall for this problem. All of the parking lights and license plate lights run in a circuit. So I can power them off a separate switch. I am going to wire up the switch this weekend. Ill let you know how it works.

This is for Jim and anyone else encountering problems with thesePDC's...I was speaking with a guy who also had the same problem. He sent a couple of emails to individuals at Dodge and now he waiting for a reply. I am in the process of drafting a e mail also...

I listed the e mail addresses of the people you need to send the e mails too.. Hope this helps many of you out there..

The e mails should be addressed to Mr. Bigland. but send them to both of the emails listed below.

Not a problem..Hopefully, others on here will read this and decide to send emails also.....

Just like the population got together and got BofA to changed their minds about charging its customers $5.00 a month to use their ATM card.

I think we as Dodge owners can get Dodge to listen to us about this issue, which appears to have affected many Dodge owners including myself.

OK, denkopf I received a call from a guy named Marvin (248-9447159) who supposedly works in Detroit, where all of the big wheels work.

After talking with him for over a half an hour, I didn't get the impression that he cared one bit about my issue, or the fact that this part was going to cost me in excess of $600.00. ***I guess when you live and work in the Ivory tower, you tend to forget how $600.00 will effect your family budget--Pontiac learned that a little to late***

Now for the install. The install was a piece of cake, and the hardest part of it all was taking off the connectors, which attach to the PDC.

Once that is taken off you just connect the new one, and the new "Plastic Funnel Type device" on the bottom..

I contacted "Haynes" the Automotive Manual company, and they sent me the instructions via e mail (PDF), ...I'll see if I can attach it here, but if I can't send me your e mail and I will e mail it to you if I can figure out how to do it.

Hey Dennis, first let me say, that because Haynes sent me the diagram in a {PDF) format, I am having problems attaching it to an e mail to send it to you.
But, let me tell you pal, that changing the old one and replacing it with a new one is really, really simple.......I will again, try attaching the diagram though, because sometimes it's easier when you can see it..

Secondly, my vehicle is a 02......I spent the money already, so the only thing Dodge can do for me, is offer me a certificate for some type of service....

Some one again, contacted me from Dodge wanting to know if I was satisfied with the way they handled my issue....MY answer was "NO."

Yes there is a way to take it apart and try to clean it. That's what I did and it worked out for me. It has been working for me for about a week now. You will have to drill a few taps out to separate the box. Once you drill the taps, you have to carefully pry it apart. I just wiped my off with a cloth and blew it off with my compressor and sprayed it with lacquer clear. He a link to my thread with my problem I had. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/3rd-gen...s-stay-on.html
