Default no taillights

I went to hook up my snowmobile trailer today and I had not tailights.

The brake lights work fine but the running taillights dont work.

No clue what is wrong couldn't find any blow fuses.

Any help is appreciated.

Do the lights work on the truck with the trailer disconnected?
I would double check the fuses. Sounds like you might have a short on the trailer side. Also check the wiring on the trailer.

i had the same problem some of the lights would work on the trailer and all of them on the truck. it was a blown fuse. put a new one in it and works fine now.

A badground on the trailer will do it too. My 16 ft car trailer had hazzard lights, but no running or brake lights. Here when i was pulling it out of the woods, the ground got snagged and ripped it off. It was trying to ground through the ball itself.

It has nothing to do with the trailer the trailer just helped me notice the taillights werent working. I checked all the fuses NOT one was blown so its not fuse wise.

EVERY other light works except both taillights dont light up unless the brakes are used.

Any other suggestions

I understand about the tailights.
Arethe front park/running lights off as well?
The reason I ask, is my fault had all the running/park lights off.
It's a corroded returnpathdeep within the power distribution module.........the fuse box to you and I ha ha ha.
I unfortunately had to replace the fuse box and it worked 100%.
There is a known issue with 03/04 Hemis and these fuse boxes and the park lamp relay circuit.
I do know of a way to jumper the park lamp relay to get them to stay on.
But you have to open the hood and jumper it everytime you need your lights to work.
There is another way other than that, but it involves fitting a temporary switch.
Just recheck all your fuses and switch around the relays in the fuse box just incase a relay has gone bad. All the relays are the same in that area. Just check on the fuse box lid to see wherre the park light relay is.
What is your truck BTW???
Model and year and engine size would be good info?
Post up and let me know whats happening?
Al.

The truck is a 2002 ram 1500 sport QC 5.9 motor.

Every light except the taillights and parking lights work.

So I guess it is something to do with the fuse box
