Default Emblem Question

Hey guys... quick question.

I am thinking about taking off my 2005 series "Hemi 5.7L Magnum" emblems on the front fender and putting on the 2006+ series "Hemi 5.7 Liter" emblems instead. I know that they have the sticky backing and I was wondering if you think there will be a noticeable paint difference when i remove them. If you recall, in 2005 the emblems were placed in between the front wheel well and the headlights. But, starting in 2006 they moved them to right past the front door, below the antenna. I am jsut afraid that after 3 years of sun, the old locations will show a difference in non-faded paint and it will look stupid. What do you guys think? Will it be noticeable?

Heres some pics to illustrate my point-

2005 location: See my sig
2006 location: https://dodgeforum.com/photo.asp?pho...=6&apage=1

(Hope you dont mind me using your pics

Some guys have mentioned the "ghosting" of their old badges but everything I have read said they have been able to wax it out. I think you will be fine. If you do this badge swap, make sure to do it well and measure up on an 06-08 because I have seen some nasty swaps.

+1

On my '06 I had a "ring" left on my tailgate where the dodge emblem was......After a wash and a wax, you couldnt tell the difference. Good Luck!

2" down from the antenna and 1" away from the gap where the door opens and 2" 3/4 down from where it starts to bend on the fender on the drivers side.
