Great job Red...you are one brave guy taking the dash apart. I'd love to have the nerve and do my own deal, but it scares me to death. I've believe i've decided ona pioneer h/u that will except their bluetooth and sirius radio. I travel alot and want both. I already have a 10" sub and amp, but will need the sub box. I'm probably going to upgrade to 4x powered amp vs. trying to go with (2) 2x amps. I like how you did the one large amp below the seat. Any cooling problems? Did you dina mat?

You can see another box I built for a friend...MA Audio 15" XE

I have so many more but I cant find them on my computer right now. I wish I had pics of my old JL set-up...along with the Kicker set-up I did for my brother in-law

Right now I have:
Pioneer Premier DEH-P660
Alpine Type-R components... 6.5"in the front and 5.25" in the rear
Kenwood KAC-8401 amp (For components...got it free and it fit under the drivers seat...so I used it[8D])
2- 8" Tang Band W8-740c's subs mounted under the rear seat in a custom ported box (.75^2 each after displacements@ 34hz.)
Viper (A.K.A. DEI for those who don't know)D600.1 amp.

And don't forget the Optima Yellow Top.

Got any pics of your tin work???

Yea I Used Stuff I Use At My Shop Instead of Dynamat.

The Under Seat AMP Is Nice... But Any Heavy Weights Sit Above It May Push It Down.. Or Last Summer I Had Some Girl Back There.. And Then It Jarred It Loose.

The Dash Comes Apart Sooooooo Easy, No Need To Fear!

Make Sure You Have A goooood Ground. Make Sure You Ground To The Frame, Not Just The Body... I Redid Mine 2x But Now Its Perfect.

No Cooling Problems At All. The JL Is Good On Heat Disipation.
