RE: System Install W/ Pics
Seriously, I didn't do much to mine. I must be getting old, because I actually worked at a home/car stereo store in my late teens (around '84 or '85) as an installer for a summer after baseball season till football season. I always did a system as my first mod, back then.
Now, I only put in a 52 watt Sony deck that reads mp3's and has an aux jack for the old ipod. I replaced the stock speakers about a year and a half later (finally cracked one) with some decent Polk ones. That's it.
I did the cardinal sin in myGrand Cherokee - I left it stock!!! But it has the 10 CD changer in the back and the controls on the back of the steering wheel and I didn't want to mess with it. Besides, it's an Infinity system with 4 Boston Accoustic speakers and 2 tweeters in the dash. It actually sounds very good for a stock system...

I Love My Bostons.. Fricken Expensive But Best Choice I Still Think.
So Everyone Is Orig. From Illinois But You All Took Off!?!? Whats That About?
If You look On The Pics I put Up On the First Page.. I Drilled New Holes. I Feel Thats The Best Way - Using A Closed Loom & Sealed Water Tight Grommets There Is No Bad Side Effects (If Done Right)
On My Truck It, The Door Wiring Has Connectors At The Door. So There Was No Way Of Running It Through The Same Channel.
