HID Fix
Well I got the HID conversion and like everyone else had issues with the Lights Blinking like hazards only slower. Now I looked everywhere on the Internet and couldn't find a definite answer on how to fix the problem. I'm one of those people that likes my truck upgrades to work properly as if it came from the factory that way, so I set out to find a fix that didn't involve "Rigging" it.
So here it goes... so far, I'm still researching a better way
I don't know about your kit but I got mine of Ebay for $130 it was a "Bi-xenon" kit promising both Hi and Lo Beams by using a servo that pushes the bulb in and out for brightness(out/Low in/high) all Plug and play(LOL.....yeah right). The wiring harness they provide only plugs into one headlight bulb socket. This is only necessary to send a signal to the relay so it knows to turn on the HIDs the actual power comes from the battery via a double fused double red wire. I plugged mine into the driver side plug. If you hook everything up the way it tells you to the lights will blink, and here is why...... the computer in the ram sends out a signal to each bulb to test for resistence(if resistence occurs the computer thinks the bulb works) if the signal comes back with not enough resistence then it keeps sending the signal over and over(thats where you get the blink). The way to fix this is by tricking the computer into thinking the bulb is still there by creating resistence. Im trying to find the proper size resistor but if you dont mind "rigging" it you can go get some Cheap 55 watt driving lights/foglights(I paid $15) and wiring the positive to the low beam wire and the ground into the center(ground wire) I did this about 1in up from the plug on the factory harness. This fixes the blinking now your LAMP OUT light will still be on so you have to do the same thing to the passenger side that fixes that.
When you get done with this you will notice that you dont have the ability to switch from hi to low beams, aka its stuck in the bright mode. To fix this just cut the small red wire that goes to the back of the bulb for the servo and splice it to the low beam wire on the factory harness on both passenger and driver side
There you go its done...... Just make sure you place the driving lights where they wont burn anything(they get real hot) mine were small enough to tuck down in the radiator supports.
once again im looking for the proper resistor so I dont have to use the foglights but Ill let you know when I do. Till then this is the simplest "fix"

Wow, I had no idea about this problem with HID. I'm glad I didn't order HID's Last weekend. I almost did.
I too am like you sleepinGSR, I want all my upgrades to look as if it came from the factory that way, and Ghetto rigging it, sure isn't the right way to accomplish this..
I think i'll wait a bit longer to see if anyone comes out with a HID system that works properly.

i guess i should have said call dodge and see if you can order them. when i bought my 08 the salesman told me i had everything available on the truck except tv in the headrest and hid lighting. he told me i could get both if i wanted to add them. there is also a sticker in my door jam that says this vehicle is can be equipped with hid lighting and dvd. dont know part number
sounds like you need a cancellation kit for the lamp out and a wiring harness for the flickering problem. I am going through a similar situation, you can get the wiring stuff ondodge talk, its another forum like this one. Itsunder the mcculloch special buy section. www.dodgetalk.com

Great work on the fix. I have been racking my brains out today trying to figure out why they were flashing. As far as a resistor I bet these will work perfectly,
