are there good inexpensive mods for the CTD???
This is where I started, $500 and 100rwhp, drives like a whole new truck I bust my tires loose alot when I stomp it to pass at lower speeds (55mph and down) I run the 70 hp settin on my Jr. cause I wanna upgrade my Tq Convertor before using the 100hp daily.

So Yes there are alot of good mods for good reliable power that don't cost alot, Programmer and a minor trans upgrade (when adding over 60hp) would make great daily driver and I love my 16.5mpg city and 18.7mpg cruisin 85-87 while puttin almost 800tq to the ground try that with the viper (no offense vipers)...Browse the CTD section for mods so you can hear from the guys w/em...

Just food for thought, I just did an 800mile round trip towing two bikes in and enclosed trailer (06 YFZ450 and 07 Artic Cat 500 4x4 and camping equipment for those interested) and driving just under the speed limit I averaged 15.2 MPG highway. I was driving a stock06 2500 CTD 4x4 (QCSB auto)with a 2" leveling kit and 32's. I was also able to get in and out of our campsite in 4WD with the trailer, and many people had trouble. If your 1500 can fill that roll, go with the SRT. If not, I'd get a CTD (but I'm bias, we've got two at the house).
