alright after a little research i found that the foxacoustics has them for 175, not 150 (even on ebay)...i might consider getting this box since i hear so many good things about them although itll set me back another 55 dollars in the difference but i think itll be worth the investment.
what are the fold out platforms? i guess i dont have them on mine. also the spacer... is it hard to install that seat spacer? or should i just have the shop do it for me?

First, if you look on their main page, the 12" box is on sale for $150 shipped right now, in BIG BOLD letters. But, since you sold the 12"s and are going with 10"s that might cost $175....The platforms are a little tray that some trucks have under the seat. If you had it, you would know.

The spacers are really easy to install. Especially since I took the seats out of the truck to mount the amp anyway. They just go between the truck and the seat bracket.

There is also no such thing as bridging a monoblock amp... A bridge is a connection between 2 different amplifier sections. If there are multiple outputs,I can almost guarantee that they will be parallel. However, you can get a lot of power from this amp by using 2 2ohm speakers or 2 4ohm DVC (all run in parallel to get a nominal impedance of 1 ohm, netting you 1200wRMS from the amp). But you might have a little better luck running it in 2 ohms getting 600wRMS...

Have you amped the door speakers and everything else yet?1200wRMS is TWICE the wattage I have on my subs, so you may run into a balance issue. JL w3's or w6's (again, from ebay) work well in this box & the 10" box is ported. You are not really going to find a prefab box anymore airspace wise than the foxbox. (I did some very extensive searching, and this seemed to be the answer) I perfer 10" subs anyway, cuz I listen to rock and they give me a little more "kick drum punch"

That is a hell of an amp to have gotten for$50!!!! But like I said, balance may be an issue, so you may be upgrading door speakers soon....

Yea, if you end up making a box, good luck. It WILL be a PITA.... Fox Acoustics makes a great box. It is well made and sounds great. It has a good amount of airspace for a prefab box, and will install without you having to pull the carpet out from under it (unlike the carpeted boxes, which often require this) This has been a very popular box on DF & DT.

The subs also come with some 5/8" seat spacers to give a little more clearance for sub excursion. Here is a pic of my setup without the back seat.

question dude, does it ever rattle? does it really sound as good as everyone is making is out to be?
