Nice Mega yourself Chongo
I have a Tuff Country leveling kit (I think) and BFG 35" KM2 MT. I really like them. What about you what king of tire you running?
Too bad the dealer and the dodge websites doesn't mention this. They like to brag about the MDS, but I guess they overlooked the megacab's lack of an MDS?

Hey Coffee1:
The 07 dodge ram mega cab does have MDS as long as it's labled a 1500. The same year in the 2500 (Hemi) does not come with MDS. I have the '08 1500 megacab and it does have the MDS. I believe the '05 to '09 mega cabs come with MDS, but was dropped for '10. The mega cab for '10 now only comes in the 2500 or larger w/out MDS for the hemi. Hope this helps.
Ive been reading a lot and am confrused does my truck have MDS or not? If not it deffinatly has some weird shift points.Any help greatly appriciated[sm=dontgetit.gif]
I know this thread is old but I just purchased an 08 Mega and it's got MDS. You can see the VIN decoder here in the mechanical and power train section describes multi displacement engine.
Yes it is an old thread and no, no it doesn't lol. Your generic VIN decoder is incorrect; no heavy duty 3rd gen (2500/3500 & 1500 mega since it's built on a 2500 chassis) with a 5.7 came with MDS. This is the OEM build sheet decoder with your VIN in it: https://www.jeep.com/webselfservice/...KR19D38G142401
