07 mega cab MDS OR NOT?
No the megacabs do not have MDS - I am guessing you are referring to the overdrive at 45mph and then the second overdrive at like 60 mph or so? Alot of it has to do with the gearing you are probably bouncing in an out of OD which is annoying - I know - regearing will help with keeping you in gear rather than bouncing between gears while driving.
[sm=exactly.gif]No MDS in the Mega cabs. They put the 1500 on the 07 and eariler, butthe 08 just say RAM (check out the pic). The reason they call it a 1500 is it doesn't quite meet the payload of a 2500. It is almost there but not quite. The benefit for me is I can still haul nearly the same amount and I have the heavy duty stuff for pulling but I save a little on the registration. I like saving some $$$.
My 2 cents

J54custom - no I havent done a regear yet - but I am planning on it at some point this year - my tires are 305x70 - comes out to a 34" tire - once I regear and level it I will go to 35's.

My local dealer said that basically the differences are the rear end 2500 Mega 11.5, 1500 Mega 10.5; and the spring rates are slightly different. My local spring shop said they can install the 2500 Mega springs, they are getting me a price.
