Removing dealer sticker??
I have a dealer sticker on my tailgate I want to remove....not just tape, but a thicker emblem that looks crappy.
How can I remove it without damage to the paint under it???
By the way, my truck has had a paint sealant is this going to be a problem???

if it's just a sticker then a hair drier on low will do the job, but if you can get some dental floss behind it that will work also, get the thing off then use some bug and tar cleaner to get the glue off.
Lighter Fluid has naptha in it and will desolve the glue without hurting your paint. Took off my DODGE badge from the tailgate this way. You will need a hair drier, and 90min.

I didn't have that problem because I factory ordered it and it came in 2 weeks early, it just so happened I decided to drive into the dealership to check the status and it was just being offloaded the transport. I decided to wait for it while they did the dealer prep on it and I made sure they didn't put their sticker on it. They however managed to put their license plate frames on it when they put on my plates.
Apply some heat with the hair dryer and run dental floss or fishing line behind the sticker, be careful not to apply too much heat, just enough that you get some action when you are pulling the line behind it. Good luck!

I used waxed dental floss and goo gone to remove all my lettering and decals. DO NOT PRY them off that is how you cause paint/body damage - let the dental floss cut the adhesive then use either Goo Gone or any of the other suggested items.
Most of all DONT RUSH - it may take some time (took me 3/4 of a day for everything) but the end results are worth it.
Good luck.

I did the same with the Hair Dryer trick....Took less than 2 hours to remove every decal and insignia on the truck. Most body shops will do the job for under $75.00. I opted to do it myself on a nice afternoon with a couple of beers for inspiration.
