normal to jerk in 4 wheel when turning?
Hey guys, new to using the 4x4....anyway, is it normal for my truck to jerk when turning in 4 high? When I was driving in the snow, I did a couple sharp turns slowly and it like jerks and stops and goes. It does it everytime...so is that normal? Doesn't do that in reg. 2 wheel but hopefully that's what happens! Thanks

Yes its completely normal. The inside tire rotates slower than the outside tire when turning causing the inside wheel to hop. Since the tires are locked together in 4X4 they have to turn the same speed, you will find if you have to turn really sharp you either have to take it out of 4X4 or use a littel throttel to make the front end slide a little. Never engage 4X4 unless its slippery as this can cause serious drive train damage.
