Default 07 fog lamps

I was looking to install a set of fog lamps on my truck and it didnt come with them from the factory. i looked under the bumper yesterday and there was a pig tail there but only on the left side. Is that for the fog lights or something else? i assume if it is there, there is another wire that would connect each light together....

The connector on the drivers side is the factory connector. If you buy the factory fog light kit, it comes with a Y-connector that plugs in there and Y-s off to the 2 fog lights. The factory kit is the easiest to install. Hope this helps....DAVID

You may or may not have to have the fog lights "enabled". If you hook everything up and the lights work, they may not turn off when you switch to high beams, If you want them to turn off with high beams on, the dealer will have to change it. If they do not come on when you install them, the dealer will have to "enable" the foglight output. The wire takes about 1 minute to install, the whole kit takes less that 30 minutes.

oopss....I ment 10 min to install.... The wire installs quickly... The dash comes apart extremely easy and quickly total of six screws and pop the panels out and remove 2 screwsw to replace the switch.... If when your done and they dont work at all (as in my case) you have to take it to the dealer so they can use a starscan tool to let pcm kniw the fogs are there...

Does this mean that my dealership could program my Fog lights to stay on with the high beams?!!? I've seen the little wire jumber trick on here, but would rather not "rig up" something on my truck...

Yes they can, its a question of if they will. I can tell you how to tell them to do it, but some dealers won't do it for you.....
