Need Help with rear end and Electric Fan
Thanks for your service.
Take care of your buddies over there.
If you want to spend a bit less money on an electric fan
the Lincoln Mk VIII V8 fans are very high quality
and are about the right size to fit the 4.7 Ram radiator:

The Audi factory fans are also high quality and about the right size.
Actual highway MPG tests at a steady 70 mph
only show about a 3% MPG gain without any fan.
The Ram and Dakota factory 4.7 viscous clutch fan is already a special piece
with a lower than normal viscosity silicone fluid in the clutch housing
so that when the clutch is disengaged there is very little hp
being consumed because the fan blades are only turning about 450 rpm
no matter what rpm the 4.7 engine goes up to.
