the tweeter on the 5x7 and 6x9 in more than likely the same size, they are on most other speakers, there shouldn't be any gap in the door, it doesn't make any difference in my truck, others may say different.

hmm, I need to see pics to justify this lol. I just keep thinkin it won't match up to the stock holes and small gaps will be shown. But if I take your word for it, I might just go check out some of them and see how they sound. If not, I think I'll just go ahead and get the pioneer 4 waysfrom walmart since they are pretty cheap and decent sounding (a hell lot better than stock lol). I use to have sony Xplode 3 ways in my old car (6x9's in the back) and I thought they sounded better than my brother's overpriced Alpine S's. I just like the crisp clean sound of them and low distortion (with the settings I do with the headunit). Anyway, will it sound better with the stock unit? I am pretty broke now so I'll be getting the unit in a few months but I'll go ahead and buy the speakers this week. So the walmart pioneers WILL FIT FOR SURE?????

i dont' have any pics of my doors and i'll be at work till next tuesday so i cant get to the truck to take any, but the 3 1/2s in the dash, there is the pannel that in on top the dash that comes off and you just run a wire down the dash to the back the head unit, alot of people use t taps to tie into the wires coming out of the deck for the front speakers. I have both my 5x7s in my doors and my 3 1/2 in the dash running off of my head unit and it has no problems, also my deck has a high pass filter to block out the lowbass going to them so i don't have any distortion, sorry i can't help with the pics just beware that not all 6x9s fit becauseof the magnent, wouldn't want you to spend money and they not fit.
