Default Best 6x9's

Hey guys, just wondering what the best sounding 6x9's would be to replace my ****ty stock ones with. They will NOT be amped, but with a 4 volt headunit, which should be enough for me....but what are yall's opinions? I do not like how the alpine S's sound even though they are quite expensive, but I do want something in that price range and just seeing if any of you guys have replaced your 6x9's with something that sounds great with practically no distortion and a crisp clean sound. (I'm a treble guy...I keep bass at minimal).

hey man, the 4v only applies to the pre amp outputs for the amp signals, I had a 05 single cab and i put infinity reference 3 1/2" in the dash spots and 5x7's in the front doors and they sounded really good and all i had was a jvc ad-avx2 head unit with one 12" Diamond sub behind the seat and it was a really clean sound and infinity is really not all that expensive. I now have a 07 quad cab with 3 1/2 in the dash 5x7 in the front door, and 5 1/4 in the back door with 2 12" jbl subs under the back seat and it is awsome!

the new infinities aew pretty good but they run a little better on an amp, they dont' put out much bass without one, by FAR is Pioneers Get the 4-way speakers. I wirk at a shop where we do just aout anything to any car, people that don't want amps these are too perfect, i have them in mine and absolutely love them.

i ran all JL Audio and seriously love it. You have 2 spots in your dash that you can mount 3.5's.Really brought out the hi's and complimented the new 6X9's
