Default new truck

Went and bought me a new 08 1500 4.7 V-8 this week.

I want to make a 'few' modifications to it (isn't that what they all say at first). I'm running into problems thought because it is so new.

First thing I'm looking at is to lower it a bit. Anyone drop one of the new Rams? I'm looking at going down 2" in the front and maybe 4-5" in the rear.

Who's running what? What size rims/tires are you running on them?

Didnt get hemi because had one and pathetic gas milage ,ticking ,pinging ,stalling and sputtering gets real old quick and the hemi only has 35 HP more than this all new 4.7 and lighter package. You wouldent believe how quick it is compared to hemi Qcab 4x4 35HP more but more weight.

Nother fact is this base v8 from dodge puts out more hp than the big ford5.4. Pissed frogers freind at work ofF she has new f-150 and i got 10 hp more and a lot smaller.[:@]

Take a look at dodge website about new 4.7, forged pistons, new "hot" cam, forged rods, twin plugs per hole and more! not a laughing matter any more

BTW the only thing cool about the hemi was the name. my old 4.7 i had 5 yrs ago wasent that quick but got 22mpg constant
