What did you buy your truck for?
Bought mine cause I was a little sick of driving the beast I had (1990 F-250 ext cab long bed diesel 5 speed) wanted something sothat I could manuver my small boat around easier. Also wanted a 4-door, and just a newer truck, with the comforts.
It's not really my daily driver as I have 3 other vehicles to pick from, but it gets its use on the weekends.

UK Student huh? I live in Bowling Green, but from Owensboro, going to Western Kentucky University. Thought I was the only KY person around here, even though it seems like 25% of the trucks I see on the roads are RAMs.
To answer the thread topic, I'm 25, bought my truck 3 months ago because I had only driven a crappy dime-a-dozen Pontiac Grand Am with a ****ty Quad-4 engine since I turned 16 and recently got a job promotion where I am making 30+k/year... not a lot by any means, but enough to afford me a "new" truck. And I am in love with it. It is the highlight of my everyday. And DF is making me salivate at all the upcoming mod ideas I am compiling for the future!

List why you bought your truck and how old you are (just curious):
Anyway, I bought mine pretty much to "cruise" in, have something big, but not too big, and of course get me to school and work.
I'm 20 years old 21 in july.....sophmore at the University of Kentucky

If you ever come to WKU to party let me know via PM, there's always something going on here, though it doesn't seem as rowdy as UK. I bet we know someone in common, being in such close vicinity and all.
No, we got a lot of the wind and a lot of rain, but no touchdowns in BG reported. My house had quite a few smaller limbs scattered around this yard this morning. And I heard one of my employees drove to Tompkinsville to check on his family because there was a touchdown there, but we were lucky. I park out in our yard and my g/f parks under a car port attached to the house. I don't know which is safer, risking flying debris, and the entire car port falling on my truck if something were to happen. Oh well, that's what insurance is for. Hope your classmate gets his stuff taken care of. If you're on myspace, add me: www.myspace.com/stevenwku
