My new truck is supposed to be here in two weeks and I am just wondering how the deal I am getting compares to others. I am using the chrysler rewards program, retail on the truck is 35,800 and out the door price is going to be close to 25,750 without sales tax. I am just wondering if I could have done better without the rewards program.By the way the truck I ordered is an 08' 1500 SXT QC.

 

I think you got a good deal. You ordered what you wanted and saved $10g. I bought a leftover 07 (QC, Hemi, SLT) a month ago sticker was 32,760 and I got it for 17,900 before taxes. I'm happy.

in 06 i bought my 05 for 15,000 with 20,000 miles on it. I love it so it was a good buy according to me

 

My '05 was stickered at 27,430. Paid 15k with taxes. Traded that in for 10k on my '07. That was stickered at 38,500, paid 26k (- trade)+ taxes.

 

I got raped by the dealer. I have never been one to haggle about pricing.

 

lol it's fun to negociate.....just walk out with the price you want and they come running out there giving you the price you want. well that's how it works for me....I don't take bulls***. Got mine used...an 04 with 42k for 11,700....12,400 after taxes. That was also with a trade in on a monte carlo z34 with 132k and was broken down (they towed it in LOL).

 

My negotiations typically span over multiple days, involve ads from other dealerships all over the state and lots of other "support" for why I should get this truck at this price.

 

Got my truck cuz my single cab 91 Silverado 1500 4x4 was to small and feeling a little beat up , we had alot of fun. I am a truck guy so I looked at all the new models and makes from this past year. I really wanted a ctd but that wasnt in my budget. I settled for a used 07 mega cab 4x4 1500 with 5000 miles on it for 28k. At first I really missed my chevy,I've owned 2 solid Silverado's.After a couple of months of owning my Dodge Ram and being here on DF, Im in love with my truck again. Best part of all is my wife loves this truck to. I'm 27 for the next few months at least.
