Hey Guys...Here is a pic of my double din dvd receiver that I installed this weekend.

What reciever is that? looks good. Any fabbing or cutting, or was it a bolt in?

 

It looks like a new bezel piece, if so whered you get it and how much?

 

no fabbing or cutting required...The receiver is the Kenwood DDX-6019, and i got the metra install kit and bought the new bezel from Dodge for the model with GPS and it fit perfect. The bezel was $120 from dodge and well worth it in my opinion. If anyone is interested in doing a similar install, I will supply all part#'s.

 

Hey hemi07 I'm gonna be doing the same to my truck . Lookihg at the pioneer H/U though. the metra install kit is the wire harness connectorcorrect? where did u buy it . I would love to get the part # 's from u.

 

How does it mount -- brackets or a big slide-in sleeve?

I'm considering one for my truck but I'd have to cut the hole, and I don't know if the black bezel would be able to form a lip to cover where I cut -- surface mount instead of flush mount.

Any info would surely help!

Antenna Adapter Part# 40-CR10 (free from crutchfield)
Factory Dodge Dash Bezel For Navi Part# 5KS701DH-AB ($120.00) *THIS PART# MARY VARY DEPENDING ON COLOR/FEATURES.

If you have the infinity 7 speaker system, you will need aamp turn-on interface instead of above wiring harness listed. The Metra part# for that is CHTO-01. Hope this helps!
