Default Remote Start

I have been thinking about a remote starter. I kinda want to get one that can use my current oem key fob so as to not have one more thing dangling from my key ring. Any suggetions? Pros and Cons?

I dont think you can get one with your oem key fob. but i think the mopar unit will give you replacement keys, so youll just have one set on your ring. your old ones still work, just wont remote start.

i paid about $650.00 canadian installed for mopar 2 way. it comes with a seperate button fob that you have to use, theres a green light that lights up to let you know it started.

Couldn't tell you what it would cost to get one considering my truck came with remote start, but I must say it is nice having my remote start on the same unit as my key. Like you, I would prefer not to have extra stuff on my keychain.

No, they gave a new remote. It replaced the factory remote. The new remote takes care ot the door locks, alarm and the remote starter.
