I would get the diesel for sure. They obviously cost a little more up front and the maintenance is a little higher but for towing the power/tq would be much more appreciated and the HWY milage with the diesel will be much better.
I recently bought a 1500 Hemi and I love the truck but I wish I would have saved a little more $ and got a 3/4 Diesel.
