know a guy with an 05 daytona, he's got it... my 06 4.7 SLT has not... jealous... very interested to see if you find anything that fits in there!

I'm pretty sure it came with the premium cloth bench seat. My 06 has it.

 

My 04 laramie has it. Its got leather if that makes a difference or not.

Does anyone know how's listed on the build sheet? For example, does it say secret compartment under seat?

 

That's weird to hear that some of you 06 slt guys do not have it...mine does.

 

There is not a listing on the window sticker/buildsheet that says "console storage or under seat storage " for the front seat. What you can look for is the wording "premium" listed with the seat. IE...40/20/40 premium cloth split bench seat. Hope this helps....

 

i took my center part out some time ago. i just went out to make sure i wasnt missing a secret compartment underneath. im not. i dont have it either. in the meantime i built a prototype box tha has replaced the seat. it holds my cooler/heater for now. a new one will be built shortly and will hold the cooler/heater, be taller/flush with the cooler top. it is a little to low for a comfortable armrest. i will also have and inverter mounted inside that will be accessible from the pass. side, driver side access. door for storage and 2 cupholders on top on the front, and a series of switches for the 5 sets of lights,cooler,inverter, and CB radio. it is bolted to the 4 holes that the seat originally was bolted too. here are (hopefully)pics of the box as it sits now.
