There is not a listing on the window sticker/buildsheet that says "console storage or under seat storage " for the front seat. What you can look for is the wording "premium" listed with the seat. IE...40/20/40 premium cloth split bench seat. Hope this helps....

Anybody care to post a picture of said handle to open or the storage room underneath?
I have an '08 with the Premium "Yes" essentials fabric front seat and can't figure out how to look for this. Thanks guys / Gals.

So has anyone figured out what differentiates the center consols? I'm not near my "Brandie" so I'll have to waht until I go on leave to check it out. I have the SLT with cloth seats.

Hey guys new here,
After totalling my 04 Ram without the underseat 40/20/40 storage compartment/bin I now have an 05 with the compartment/bin.
I really like the vault posted in the earlier section of the thread but does anyone know if any company makes a removable plastic liner for the compartment so you can put ice and soft drinks in there?
