Default Flasher?

Hey guys, I found the fuse panel located under my hood but having trouble locating the flasher for my turn signal lights? I hooked up a auxillary set of turn signals but cant find where to hook the positive wire up. I tried to direct wire the positive into the signal lights but that doesnt work. I thought the flasher would be in with the Fuse panel but no luck. Anyone can give me any help?

Thanks I appreciate it!!!
you can email me at kennison99@aol.com if youd like.

Flasher is inside, I believe.
Turn on your turn signal and locate the ticking noise, you just found your flasher.

yeah I thought about that, the ticking noise comes from behind the instrument panel (yikes) and another ticking noise under the hood underneath the fuse box... Looks tricky, i felt underneath where the ticking was coming from but only felt wires.... I finally got the led lights working, I spliced into the front signal lights, had to do a little playing around with the solid green wire, black with yellow stripe wire, and blue with black stripe wire and pink with blue strip wire.... well you get the point. I played switcharoo with my test light and finally got them working... Thanks for the reply.

I thought that there wasn't a "flasher" like they use to have and that it is programmed into the PCM. Ever notice that the turn signal indicator and the turn signals don't flash at the same time/cadence.

It can go by different names

PCM-Powertrain Control Module, ECU-Engine Control Unit, etc. Basically the vehicles brain/computer.

Doc is right----again

The turn signals are fed out of the front control module. There is a front, rear and main control module for your truck. It sounds like you found the right wire combination already. There are no "flashers in the system. Also you might find interesting. The chime you here is generated by the PCM also. Before long you'll get a ten count before you turn the key, then you hear LIFTOFF[sm=happybounce.gif]
