Default fustrating taillight problem

My driver side rear blinker does not work. When I turn on the head lights, that same bulb turns on. It's like there was a short with the blinker portion of that bulb. Could thid be the wiring or even worse like the computer. When I trun on the left blinkers the lamp out light turns off then flickers and beeps like crazy. Has anyone had a problem like this.

Yes.. You May Want To Check The Bulb Placement. I Had The Same Random Lamp out Situation And I Popped Out The Bulb And Re Connected The Plug In.. All of A Sudden, Never Had an Issue.

You have two filaments on that bulb, one for the park light and one for the brake light. I too have had problems with this. I just replaced the bulbs. It was driving me crazy constantly dinging.

the tail lights on dodges are rather notorious for problems. it cant be the rain unless the cover is cracked and is letting it in. there are people who live in rainy areas who never have problems. plus, to us, a week of rain seems like forever. hahaha. just change the bulb. if it doesnt work. check the fuse.

I had one taking on water and found a crack in the upper corner, I dabbed a little silicone in the corner and haven't had trouble since. The pain was getting the water out.

The bulb that has the problem is blinker/ running lights, theres no water in the housing or anything. Oh and the lamp out on the dash only beeps when I turn on the blinkers then it goes off.

It sound to me that you just need to replace the turn signal bulb.
