I've looked at those, and thought it would be sweet to install one. If you do let me know how itsounds. This one looks a bit different than the one I want. The one that I want actually looks just like the stock seat. All it does is replace the storage under the seat, but is also $300.00 just for the box.

I like the console sub box, maybe some day, but for now I'll stick with my under-rear-bench box.

if it where me i would go with the infinity kappa perfect 10D VQ. it only requires a maximum of 1.0 cubic ft. box, sealed, and it is 1600 watts max, plus DVC to boot. What else can ya ask for..here is a site that sells this product. look for ya self. and if you do get a sub i wouldn't recommend the truck series speakers. unless you just want minimal sound. then they are ok. good luck. http://www.hookedontronics.com/show_...;brandtype=232

I don't know if the really nice $300 console box is available anymore. I'm ready to buy and it looks like the SuperCrew box is the only option on ebay.

ya i built a box myself for my ram... it sits in the middle console area and it's a downfiring 12"... the box itself is almost 2.4 C.u ft. and it reaches from my cupholders (while they're down) all the way to about 5 inches in front of the rear cupholders... whereas the sub sits between all four of the midlle seats brackets perfectly. it is ported and hits harder than most of my friends double 12's that were installed by a company that I used to swear by their quality... i will try to upload pictures later so that you guys can get a better idea of what im talking about...

Well I just pulled the 1.5cuft ported box with a 10" l5 out which replaced the center consol completly arm rest and all. It looked like crap but it hit as hard as a friends 4 10's.

Anyway I pulled it to start test fitting the 36x12x14.5 box going in the middle consol area. The stock armrest is going to mount to it. No the cupholders will not be accesible and the box will be within a couple inches of the back cup holders. Built with 5/8" board and will house (2) 12" HF12S4 hifonics. Cuft should be around 2.6 with the speakers installed. The bottom has a 1" recess to help protect the speakers and to keep the speakers from being in the way of the brackets.

Using standard L brackets bolted to the stock mounting locations and some lag screws in to the sides of the box hold it great.

Then a friend that works at a factory is going to make some spacers to raise the back seat about an inch for added space so I can put 2 more of those 12" HF12s4's. We are going to build a wood top with fiberglass bottoms so it is truly sealed. With the extra inch over a 52" space it should get me close to 2 cu.ft. total.

You can check the sig for the rest of my system.

I had a JL Audio Stealthbox under the rear seat cubby of my '03 QC Ram. Ran it with a JL Audio 500/1 amp. Sounded really nice and I think it was perfect for Country music lol. It's been sitting in my house for a little bit. PM me if interested in it.
