I have been trying to find out the answer to this questoins, and have searched every key word I can think of.

My questions is this:

I have a 2008 2500 MegaCab 4x4 with LSD (DSA). I have the 10.5" rear AAM axle, but I do not know what king of limited slip I have.
Does this truck come with a TracRite® PC - Plate Clutch Limited Slip system, ordoes it have the worm/helical gear setup TracRite® GT - Helical Gear Limited Slip system.

I know the Power Wagon has the TracRite® GTL - Helical Gear with Electronic Locking.

Can someone clear this up for me, or at least tell me how I can tell.

I know for a fact that the rear end has synthetic oil without slip additive, does this mean it does not have the clutch system?

I thought only the power wagon came with the GT, but i dont own one.

 

The Power Wagon comes with the electric locking version of the GT called the GTL. The GT is the bias/torque version. I am trying to find out if I have the GT.

 

Sorry for the bump. I'm still trying to find out if anyone know if the 2008 2500 4x4 with the 10.5" AAM LSD in the rear is the GT or the clutch version.

 

About the only thing that I can suggest is for you to e-mail Chrysler your vin number.
From that, they know 100%what your truck was built with.
Then also ask your question about your rear end.

But won't the buildsheet only show me the option designation "DSA" I know I have an LSD, I am trying to find out specifically which one. I think they used "DSA" for all of them.
