Default Gear oil weight

I have a 04 Ram 1500 QC 4x4 5.7. I'm going to be changing diff, t-case, and tranny fluids and was wondering what type and weight of oilI should be using. Should I go with synthetic or dino? I do tow a trailer, though not often.

Any suggestions?

Attached sites will help you out if needed.

75W-90 for front and 75W-140 for rear, if you have a limited slip diff in the rear make sure and add a limited slip differential addative. Also if you go an auto parts store you might be able to get a diff gasket so you don't have to make your own. Change the filters in the trans while you are changing the fluid. I just saw on TRUCKS the other day that there is a kit that you can install a drain plug in your trans pan. This might be something to consider, I think I will do it next time so I can aviod the big mess. I would just be worried that I may screw it up and have to replace it.

I put mobil 1 in when I changed everything that you are going to be changing.

Good luck and doing it yourself is going to save you a ton$$$.
