Power Windows - Won't work

Default Power Windows - Won't work

I havea 2002 Dodge Ram 1500, I can control the passenger and rear windows from the drivers side control panel, but not from the passenger side or rear passenger switches (sometimes). Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't, but they always work from the driver control panel.Any ideas out there as to what the problem might be. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Make shure the Window Lock is not on. If you are shure that is not the problem you may have a short/ wireing problem. Some Rams have had wireing pronlems.

I'm having similar problems on an '02 1500 QC 2wd 4.7, except mine is for the door locks. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't, and it doesn't matter if I use the driver or passenger switch. The back 2 stopped working, then the passenger, and now all but the left rear seem to work again, most of the time. I'm really not looking forward to tracking down where a wiring prob might be.[:'(]

Yes, the lock was my first thought. Any ideas as to a resolution? Could it be the lock itself malfunctioning?

Mine has the same problem too. I realized though that sometimes at night only the driver side control panel switches light up.

I have herd of thisd problem on the 02's i beleve it was fixed the year later. The only solutiuon that i know would be to take it to the delier.

I have the same exact issue with my 03 If I take the switches out of the door panel and move the harness they work. It must be something internalin the bank of switches

Dodge uses junk components. My 03 Ram QC started doing all kids of weird stuff too. As of yesterday:
1. No windows other than from the driver's door
2. No door lock power to 3 passenger doors.
3. Door ajar light constantly on
4. No power mirrors.
Anybody got any ideas ?

My 02' quad does the exact same thing.... I popped the driver switch out of the door and wiggled the wires around some to make sure there was good connection into the switches and the windows work for now....but whos to say when I might have to do it again....

i have to do the same.. i just pull it out and push down the wiring and put back in.. usually works
