Im New with Pics & Questions -
Thanks for taking an interest in my post -
I have owned a few Dodge Rams over the years and never changed anything. For some
reason I have decided to put forth an effort and customize a few items with my newly
purchased Dodge. I wanted to ask for your thoughts on my current issue.
I want to level the truck but not by raising the front. I wish to drop the rear. From what
I have measured, I need to drop it 2 inches to make it sit level. I did some searching and
saw that Belltech sells new hangers for $89. Am I going about this the right way? Here is
a picture of the item I am looking to use for lowering my truck...

Here is the stock hanger...

And here is my truck...

It's a 2008 1500 SXT. I didnt like the 08 wheels so I swapped them with the 07's. I added a ********
bed cover and tow mirrors. I need to do something with the front clip, looks too stock. Any thoughts
on my lowering project is greatly appreciated. I hope the images are not too big

The reason why I want to lower the rear is make the truck sit level. I did the tape
measure routine and calculated a drop of 2 inches in the rear will make it sit level.
I don't want the baja look, and 2 inches will not cause this. I guess you can't tell
from the perspective of the picture too well. I don't like the huge opening in the
wheel well of the rear. Leveling it will close some of the gap.

ya go for it. i think me and redram are just biased towards a lifted truck lol. i personally rather not see a dropped truck, to me it loses its point of being a truck. but if you want the 2" drop then go get it. post pics when youre done.
