Well, I don't think racing on the streets is a cool thing, but, I had to know!

I was driving on a double lane street with plenty of lights and the speed limit was 55. Well anyway, this guy obviously just bought his Tundra 5.7 and was screwing around with it. We were side by side and didn't realize he wanted to go and he took off like a bat-out-of hell! So, I saw what he was looking for and, well, quite frankly, I wanted to know how well I could keep up with him.

So, we were lined up at the next light, this time it was on. He kept looking over towards me and I just had a smerk on my face, (keep in mind, this was late at night). Now, the light turns green and were off and to my suprise I jumped him pretty good and kept a lead to the next light. I went 0-60 and let off, don't need a ticket! We did this twice...Same results....

Then, he follows me onto the highway...I know he felt like a turd, especially next to his girlfriend lol.. We did a 30mph roll and sure enough to my suprise, I jumped him again, not by much. I had him from 30-70 and let off...It looked as he was gaining on me, but didn't want to go any faster to find out!

Well, thought I would share my story..

im not against the truck, i just cant stand the drivers, they should be driving 4 door cars, theyre not "truck people". well for the most part.

 

I feel the same way! But, don't tell my brother that... He love's Tundra's and he is on his second. He bought the 5.7 QC 4x4 and when I go home to Florida to see my parent's it's ooooonnnnn!

 

I use my truck for work. I build houses and needed something to haul and tow, nothing I test drove had comparability to the hemi light-duty truck..

Now, on the other hand, my brother doesn't use his truck for nothing!
