If you put the truck back to stock tune then there would be no need for superchips to unlock the tuner. It will be already unlocked.

Nathan, you may have an issue with your truck. My local Hemi performance shop just got a new '08 4x2 QC in for a CAI, Cat-back, tuner job about 3 weeks ago. They installed K&N CAI, magnaflow muffler & Flashpaq 3815. The dyno showed a gain of 26 HP and 35 torque. The customer was there today licking his lips for more talking headers. (I was there to see how they were coming on the SCT & custom tunes as I'm dying to do my cam). The guy says he's only had the truck about 4 months, but has seen about a 3 mpg increase since the changes.
Something does not make sense that you are losing performance and getting worse mileage...
Are you sure you are just not expecting huge gains and kinda feel like it's less because it's not the gains you wanted? Have you updated the unit online and/or talked to or emailed SC? Have you visited a dyno to confirm you are losing power?

I am dealing with superchips now. As far as putting on the dyno, I know that would prove for it sure, but I'm not sure where one is for me, and, if I have to put on there to see the improvement, then there isn't much reason to own a tuner, I wouldn't think. But I will see what the guys at superchips have to say and go from there. Thank you for the input

Don't give up on it yet. Give the calibration team a chance to see what's up. Even though my mods have basically outgrown their tuner, and I've had major issues with their management team, it really is a solid product for a stock to mildly modded truck.
I've said before, even without power or mpg gains, I think the tranny improvements are worth the cost alone, but almost everyone experiences power gains you can feel with the old "butt dyno" and achieve mpg gains as well.
Good luck...

I have about a 2mpg increase as a result of using the performance tune on my 2007. I have not dyno'd it so I can't say what it's getting for increased hp but it sure seems like it's got a whole lot more pep in it's step since I installed my flashpaq.

I know this is an old post, but I just bought a 3815 chip for $150.00 for my 04 QC. I have a flowmaster exhaust, and a K&N CAI and I've seen a pretty big difference in power, as far as gas mileage I havent seen anything yet, but thats probably because I keep mashin down testing the new power. Anyways for $150 I figured i coulden't go wrong, and I was right! I love it. Don't understand how someone couldent notice a difference.
