I dunno anyone with one on a hemi but a procharger is a good blower...and it's stand alone soyou don't have to tap the oil pan. You'll need a tune and possibly injectors depending on the psi..

They use a Unichip pre-set tuner and 2 auxiliary injectors that go into a throttle body spacer.

They swear that it works great on the hemi trucks, but all the guys I know that have tried aux injectors and all kinds of tuners proved that it does not work well in our trucks. Our intakes are not designed for fuel to be introduced before the cyclinders.

They also say that they have a ton of trucks on the street with their setups, but nobody that has one that is not affiliated with procharger is on any of the forums.

STS turbo had a similar setup in the beginning and it was proven that it was not a good setup, they stopped offering a tuned system and only sell a basic system that you have to provide your own tuning for.

I've talked with the procharger techs on the phone about their tuning solution. They were not technical at all, they just said that they really work great, etc.

Take it for what its worth. I'll pass.

I don't know about Dodge but I have one on my Corvette and its been great. No extra injectors on my car I have never heard of this before. If you get one have it professionally tuned forget about the Procharger tuner.

I didn't know that...it must be because the hemi is speed density.

Procharger has units for Dodge hemi cars and other vehicles like chevy and ford that use larger injectors in the engines and no aux injectors.

In the Dodge trucks they have to use the aux injectors. The truck pcms are a pita to work with. I don't know why, nobody I know has a clue as to why.

They try to push the performance of their cars onto truck guys. No comparison.

Some trucks use the smt-6 with larger injectors in the engine and a 2BAR map sensor and they work fine. My 04 doesn't like it.

I'm waiting to see what happens with the sct solution for these trucks.

Like I said I have Procharger in my car and 42# injectors. I don't understand how STS or Paxton or whoever can get their compressed air to work in a Dodge truck and Procharger can't? Just curious, I'm probably missing some fine point here. Anyway I'm not thinking about it for my truck, If I want to go fast I take the car or the Blackbird.
Thanks

Rick
