Seatbelt Tension
maybe its the gut factor and we're stretching out the spring LOL.
I'm sure replacing the spring, test it out on the wifes belt. Now it is common for most modern day seatbelts to have a small explosive device that allows a much quicker locking during a crash so I don't know if I'd F with it myself.

Yep............I don't know if Dodgefit these seat belt pre-tensioners, or what year they started to do it if they have them??? [sm=confused06.gif]
I do know however, that these things usually pull back and operate the fastening part of the seat belt, that's normally wedged down between the seats.
These pull back forcefull in the event of air bag deployment and therefore pre-tension the seat belt.
So I dont think that fiddling around with the winding mechanism, will be a problem.
