RE: Lift vs. speed?
You make me sound dumb, ha ha. I never said aything about lifting a 2wd, that would be retarded. If i lifted anything it would have to be a 4X4! Thats kinda the point. But anyways. Thanks guys for the advice and for giving me so much crap. Especially about my username. ha ha.

RE: Lift vs. speed?
I dont even have THIS truck we are talking about to say that it is a 4x2 or 4x4, I was just curious about the circumstances. I don't really care about 0-60, it just seemed like a good way to gauge how much speed i would lose. Ya know? Or maybe ya don't know. I don' want to race little asian cars, ha ha. If I did I would buy an srt charger or something. But i dont, I want a sexy truck, which is what I got.

RE: Lift vs. speed?
mark dont mind these guys fukcing with you dude. they do this because they are 'vets' on this forum and feel the need to try to bust some ***** to make it feel like theirs are huge. anywho, im sure youd lose enough speed. not sure on the numbers. but i wanna say 2-4 seconds? you can still add some neat little mods to keep it where its at. chip, exhaust, CAI,a dn a few other things. im not much of a mod guy but i think you catch my drift. welcome aboard the forum though.

What do you currently drive?
Also your mpg will tank a good 20+%, the gears and chip will do the most and cost the most, however if you drive a lot you'll make up for it with the gas savings by having the gears and chip. Also you're in co, assuming in a mountainous area, if thats the case then gears would almost be a requirement to get up those long inclines.
