yea im on the budget side too....i also plan on doing the modding thing but i dont have a million tools so it mit take alil longer for me....but hey i got spring break to do it so it should b kinda fun to mess around with my truck!

What i plan on doin to my truck
-flowmaster 40 series (dual hopfully)
-K/N air intake (the one off ebay for 40 bux)
-Powerwire
-Hopefully a jet chip s1
-ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD CONSIDER??????

 

big b i must say, i would def go with a magnaflow instead of a super 40, its such a much louder rumble in my opinon and people will think you have some expensive dual exhausts when you really only need one with dual exits. its badass in my opinion. I'm with ya im a junior in high school and spring break is gonna be awesome for messin around with stuff for the beast.

 

I just ordered this Cold Air Intake...i talked to the guys at autozone and they said to get the most Performace (not much as it is) u should get one that connects to the throttle body b/c there is no place the air could leak or "depresserize".....so i got this one off ebay (i ordered it yesterday)

i also put in some nice Bosch Platinum +4 spark plugs....a cheap way to gain some ponies.....it mit sounds weird but putn those in.....i felt a difference on my acc and how smooth the jumps were...also my truk idled at a lower rpm...so there is mpg and performance for ya and it only cost like 40 buxs
