2.5 inch leveling kit
I just added this one to my truck. I have a great mechanical knowledge however suspensions I am lacking. I paid for a shop to do mine and they knocked out an alignment in the process. It comes wth step by step instructions how to install and you can decide whether you can do it yourself or not. http://store.topguncustomz.com/store...mp;i=152336146 There is a DIY thread here for a leveling kit very similar to the one I linked you to so you can get a general idea what's involved before you commit money.
depends what kit you buy. with some of the kits, you have to disassemble the strut meaning you will need a spring compress tool, and other kits like the topguncustomz and readylift which seem to be the more popular are easier. The spacer bolts to the top of the strut assembly and then back into the truck. If you have a basic mechanical background, you should be able to do it yourself with no problem. I think an alignment is recommended after installation. so people say they didnt need one and others say they did. hope this helps
k thanks guys does the leveling kit make a noticeable difference. The kit i ordered was the 2.5 inch top gun customz lift. It said it didnt require dissassembly of the strut. But yea will i notice a difference in how the truck sits

As was stated earlier, get an alignment done ASAP after putting the leveling kit on.
