305-40-22. If you are looking for tires I would not get the Pirellis

I just got the 22" replicas and put Cooper Zeon XST 305/40/R22 on them. They look really good and are less expensive than the Pirelli's.

Your going to find that an all-terrain or mud tire of the major brands in a 22 isn't going to be cheap and there aren't a ton of choices. A Toyo mud in a 22 is going to be in the 400 range, even a BFG All-Terrain in a 22 is close to 500 a pop. Maybe you could get the Nitto Tera in a 22 for a better price, not sure exactly how much probably around 350 a tire.

I don't think a 40 series tire is a good choice for going in the dirt much, with those short sidewalls you are asking for rim problems. Just my opinion. If your going to do 22's either keep it low and on the street or lift and do dirt tires that are tall, again just my opinion.

I have heard that the 305/40/R22's rub on a 4WD. I am not 100% on that. I think some guys have put 1/4" spacers on there to prevent it from rubbing.
