I like the idea of painting my headlights but have yet to see a shot of them on a black truck like mine... i like the stock ones and dont want them to look unprofessional if i do it.. which is why im kind of torn. I have a black 1500 sport/monochrome with the chrome grille inserts.. but something close would be great.


Also im worried about smashing the plastic dissasembling them.. which is i guess self explanatory once you heat them... and removal of the amber reflectors.. there is holes to fill in? I've read the writeups but im still a little scared to take this on...

It's Really Not A Bad Project - Just Need To Take Your Time.. And One Thing I Would Reccomend After Your Paint Dries... Throw The Headlamp In The Freezer For About 30 Minutes. This Will Alow The Adhesive On The Tape To Seperate, Without Pulling The Chrome off The Headlamps.

ya helo, nice *** truck, not really a fan of lowed trucks but it looks nice. love how you got your grille to cordinate with the stripes....just a thought...i think it would look pretty cool if your grille in your hood scoope also cordnated with the stripes....paint the 2 ends silve and leave the middle black to tie into your stripes

I need to do this to my headlights! Need to. How long of a process is it? I don't find much time to work on my whip, unfortunately. I haven't even found time, yet, to install my bakflip bed cover that I've had for a month or so.

Here is my 07 Ram. I tried cooking the lights in the oven and it didnt work at all. So I sold the old ones to Tony (CRMRAM). He is a pro at taking them apart. I decided to go with the Night Runner ones.
