Would anyone happen to have an OEM chrome grill for an 06/07/08 RAM sitting in their garage they'd like to part with? My truck came with the chrome grill with the inner black horizontal bars. I could pickup some insert on eBay but wanted to see if anyone here might have an OEM one collecting dust.

Damn, it's too bad you have the mesh instead of the bars. I was going to say...I have an '07 with the chrome grille and barsand am looking to paint my grille (including the bars) black. If you had black bars I would have said let's trade, but oh well.

No, mine has the chrome outside and black bars on the inside. Yours is all chrome with the bars being chrome too?

Is your current grille different than the one you have posted in your pictures because it looks like you have black mesh.

And yes...I have chrome border and chrome bars!

 

AH, you are looking at my old 2004 QC. I just traded that one in on the blue 2007 RAM in my avatar. There's one pic in my gallery of the new blue truck and you can kind of see the bars in that one.

Well hmm...let me think bout this...are your bars actually black or are they that plastic greyish color?

If I change my inserts to black I want to be sure they match the rest of my grille you know?

 

Here is a closeup of the grill, this is a high res image so you can see the detail. The bars look more of a flat black to me.

The black factory bars look fine with the black painted surround. I had those on mine until I saw a black billet one on Ebay. They are a flat balck.

 

I hadn't noticed that there were two types of grills. So its just thehorizontal bars one, and the honeycomb shaped circled one?

The honeycomb ones are in 02s to 05s and the bars are in the 06s to 08s from what I can tell.
